The Dodgers have now revealed he left Sunday’s game with right shoulder discomfort. This is the second consecutive start that Glasnow has left the game early due to an injury.

Glasnow’s last start against the Texas Rangers was cut short because of leg cramps. Sunday’s departure was obviously something different, and perhaps more concerning.

Glasnow left after just 17 pitches. As he was warming up ahead of the top of the second, he was seen shaking out his arm. The right-hander gave up two earned runs and a walk before making his untimely departure.

Manager Dave Roberts said there was no concern regarding Glasnow’s health status heading into Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Pirates.

“For me and the training staff, there’s no concern going into this start,” he said. “He did an IV yesterday, just kind of getting his body hydrated, all the work leading up to today is good.”
